The United Nations has expressed grief over the killing of a former Indian Army officer in Gaza and apologized to India. It is important that the former Indian Army officer was traveling in a vehicle in Rafah, war-torn Gaza on Monday morning. His car was then attacked in which the former army officer was killed.
He retired from the army in 2022
Colonel Vaibhav Anil Kale, who was killed in Rafa, took voluntary retirement from the army in the year 2022 and was currently working as a security coordination officer with the United Nations Department of Safety and Security.
