A letter issued by the ministry dealing with refugees in Afghanistan said that several agencies helping refugees have violated government laws in the town of Spin Boldak, near the border with Pakistan.
According to a statement issued by the Taliban, all establishments in Spin Boldak that are working with the Refugee and Repatriation Department should inform their female employees not to come to work.

The Norwegian Refugee Council, an international NGO, said in May that the organization had been granted permission to operate in Afghanistan. However, the Taliban has once again decided to stop the work of women in Afghanistan. This decision is being criticized worldwide.
