Flour is so expensive that ordinary people cannot afford it
Local people said that flour is not coming in the market for many days. Even if flour is coming, the price is very high. People who took to the streets to protest said that the price is so high in the market that common people cannot buy flour. Pictures obtained by TV9 show how people have placed stones and thorns in the road to block the road. Most of the states and districts of Pakistan have fallen into the grip of poverty. The situation is such that the prices of sugar and flour are skyrocketing.
There is no supply of wheat, the flour mill is closed
The situation in Balochistan is also serious. In various districts including Quetta, sugar is available at 130 to 200 Pakistani rupees per kg. While a bag of 20 kg flour is being sold for 2600-4000 rupees. The flour mill is closed due to emergency. There is shortage of flour in the market in many areas of Pakistan. Flour mills in Sindh and Karachi have had to close due to insufficient supply of wheat.
