According to the information, the people of PoK were protesting in large numbers on Saturday, May 11 to oppose the tax increase by Pakistan. But a day earlier, additional security forces were called to try to prevent the protest.
Pakistan forces intensified to suppress the opposition
According to the report, Pakistani troops detained more than 70 activists in Mirpur district without issuing any warrant or notice to stop the protest. After this incident, the angry crowd took to the streets. The general public pelted stones at the security forces in protest against the arrest. So the whole situation became very fiery. In this situation, the local administration imposed Section-144 with immediate effect.
Pakistan is not leaving children behind either
Violence is being used to crush protests against Pakistan. Pakistan administration has deployed additional personnel. In which the soldiers of Pakistan Rangers and Frontier Corps have been included. According to the information received, the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Action Committee had announced the Lok March. More than 70 activists have been arrested to stop it. Pakistani security forces are not leaving behind even the children. Police fired tear gas. Many students suffered in this falling within a school.
The Jammu-Kashmir Joint Action Committee convened a meeting on Friday to pressurize the Pakistan government to comply with the agreement reached in February this year. This included a strike by transporters. The committee accused the government of Pakistan’s capital Islamabad of not fulfilling the agreement.
