In the neighboring country of Pakistan, a tourist bus met with an accident on Friday morning. 20 people were killed when a bus from Rawalpindi to Hunja plunged down a mountain slope on the Karakoram road. While 15 people have been injured. A terrible bus accident happened in Dimer district in North-West Pakistan. The driver of the tourist bus lost control of the steering and the bus went straight into the valley. Due to which the passengers of the bus suffered an accident.
Locals and the police went to the spot and took action after coming to know about the incident. 15 injured were shifted to local hospital for treatment. When efforts were made to take the dead to the hospital for post-mortem. Three women are also among the dead in this accident. The accident was so severe that the death toll is likely to rise. Because the condition of the injured is serious. The local police said that the injured have been shifted to the hospital and rescue operations are on.
The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Hazi Gulbar Khan expressed grief over the accident and directed the administration to provide immediate medical care to the injured. Apart from this, a medical emergency was declared in the nearby government hospital due to the accident. So that the injured get full treatment at the earliest.
