U.S. Speaker of the Home Mike Johnson was greeted with boos throughout a visit to the New York Town campus of Columbia University as a controversial pro-Palestinian protest continued on Wednesday.

More than 100 Columbia learners having section in the 7 days-extensive protest have been arrested by riot law enforcement and suspended by the university, while recurring reviews of antisemitic incidents have sparked condemnation from university officials, lawmakers and student protesters who say outside teams are accountable.

Shortly immediately after meeting with a group of Jewish students on Wednesday afternoon, Johnson held a push meeting on the campus that was straight away and consistently interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters.

Johnson was drowned out by protesters who booed and shouted “we are not able to listen to you,” “cost-free Palestine” and “get the f*** off our campus” as the Republican tried to talk in aid of Israel and the Jewish pupils.
