A madrassa teacher convicted of sexually abusing and murdering two minor brothers in Pakistan’s Punjab province has been sentenced to death. A 6-year-old child and her 10-year-old brother were sexually abused by Tanveer Ahmed and his accomplice Nauman in February 2021 in Okara town, about 130 km from Lahore.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Syeda Shehzadi Najaf on Tuesday (June 27) sentenced Ahmad to death for his crimes while Nauman was sentenced to life imprisonment. Judge Syeda Shahzadi Najaf also imposed a fine of 1 million Pakistani rupees on each of them.
The accused also confessed their crime
