Khalistan supporters also attacked the Indian consulate in San Francisco earlier in March. The Indian government and Indian-Americans strongly condemned it and demanded immediate action against those responsible. Khalistanis also attempted to plant their flag on the embassy. Something similar happened at the Indian High Commission in London which was targeted by Khalistan supporters.

Khalistan supporters in Canada released a threatening poster against India on Monday. The poster reveals that Khalistani is preparing for a rally on 8th July. He held Indian diplomats responsible for the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was killed last month. Nijjar had links with the banned outfit SFJ and was also linked to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.
