- Khalistanis vented their anger by targeting Indian diplomats
Khalistan supporters have threatened Indian diplomats in Canada and a poster of it is being shared on social media. The poster calls Khalistan supporter and terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar a ‘martyr’ and Indian diplomats as ‘murderers’. Khalistan Commando Force chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead last month. He was involved in anti-India activities and violence. The Indian government had put a reward of 10 lakh rupees on Nijjar.
Sharing this poster on Twitter, senior journalist Terry Milewski wrote, ‘This is very dangerous.’ Khalistanis are venting their anger targeting Indian diplomats whom they are calling the ‘murderers’ of ‘martyr’ Hardeep Nijjar who was shot dead on June 18. There is no evidence of India’s role in this.

The Khalistani poster mentions a rally on July 8 at 12:30 pm. It is being called the ‘Khalistan Freedom Rally’ which, according to the poster, will start from the Great Punjab Business Center and proceed to the Indian Embassy. It also has photographs of Indian diplomats and ‘killer’ written in front of them. Two mobile numbers are also written below the poster. A few months ago, Khalistan supporters in many countries targeted Indian institutions and Hindu temples. Many such incidents came to light from all over the world.
Nijjar was an ISI special
Last month, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also confronted Khalistan supporters at an event during his US visit. Hardeep Nijjar, a terrorist who was killed last month, was a resident of Jalandhar in Punjab. In Canada, he was doing anti-India activities at the behest of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. He conspired to target several Hindu temples.
