US San Francisco Khalistan Supporters: The US strongly condemned the arson attempt by Khalistan supporters at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco on Sunday (July 2). American local channel Dia TV reported that Khalistani extremists set fire to the Indian consulate between 1:30 and 2:30 am, but were quickly extinguished by the San Francisco Fire Department.
The report said that The fire did not cause much damage. Also, no employee was injured in this incident. Khalistan supporters have also released a video about this incident. However, ABP could not independently verify the video.

The incident comes months after a group of pro-Khalistan protesters attacked and damaged the Indian consulate in San Francisco in March, which was strongly condemned by the Indian government and Indian-Americans. He has demanded immediate action against those responsible for this.

Khalistan supporters chanted slogans during a March protest in the US. The protesters also broke the temporary security cordon put up by the police. Apart from this, two Khalistan flags were hoisted in the consulate premises. However, these flags were soon removed by two employees of the consulate.
