Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjarhas been shot in Canada. Two unidentified gunmen on bikes fired at Nijjar and fled near Guru Nanak Singh Gurdwara in Surrey, Canada. Nijjar was the head of the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) in Canada and also the head of the Khalistan Tiger Force. He was doing anti-national activities against India while sitting in Canada.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar was named in the murder of Hindu priest
The name of Hardeep Singh Nijjar also came up in the murder of a Hindu priest in Jalandhar, Punjab in 2021. Apart from this, he played a role in many other events of the state. Last year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Hardeep Singh. Along with this, the Indian government declared Nijjar as a wanted terrorist. Recently, his name was also included in the list of 40 most wanted terrorists released by the Government of India.
Nijjar's killing comes at a time when Avtar Singh Khanda, a notorious Khalistani militant in Britain and who desecrated the tricolor at the Indian embassy in London, died in hospital last week after an illness. Khanda was considered the main handler of 'Waris Punjab De' chief Amritpal Singh. Khanda has been instrumental in the Khalistan movement that has emerged in Britain over the past few months.

The Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) has suffered a major setback. KLF chief in Britain and Amritpal Singh's main handler Avtar Singh Khanda has died in a London hospital. Khanda was put on life support system. On admission to the hospital, his supporters suggested that he might have taken poison. Khanda was a native of Punjab and was born in Moga district.
