A U.S. Air Drive F-16 Combating Falcon crashed Tuesday in the vicinity of Holloman Air Drive Base in New Mexico in the vicinity of White Sands National Park, according to a push release.

The F-16 was assigned to the 49th Wing and crashed at about 1:50 p.m. ET.

The pilot ejected and was transported by ambulance for professional medical treatment, in accordance to the press launch, which also reported that “all non-unexpected emergency personnel really should avoid the spot to avert feasible exposure to harmful substances onboard the aircraft.”
