A strong earthquake was felt in Afghanistan on Thursday evening. Its magnitude was 4.1 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the 5.55 pm earthquake was in the east southeast area of Faizabad, Afghanistan.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred
The National Center for Seismology tweeted that a magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck on June 29. The depth of the earthquake is said to be 150 km. After the earthquake, people are in a state of fear. However, there is no news of loss of life. It is worth mentioning that this is the second earthquake incident in Afghanistan’s Faizabad region in a week. Earlier on June 26, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred in the south-eastern area of Faizabad.
