A case of killing a 22-year-old Indian student with a paddle has come to light in the city of Melbourne, Australia. In the murder case, the police have arrested two brothers from Karnal in Haryana and are taking further action.
Victoria Police arrested the two accused brothers after a search operation and initiated legal action against them. Both accused were taken to Victoria Court for trial. These two accused brothers will be taken to another place for investigation.
The brothers were trying to escape after 22-year-old Navjit Sandhu and 30-year-old Shravan Kumar were injured in a house in Melbourne’s south-east. Sandhu, who originally resided in Gagsi village in Karnal, was stabbed to death in the chest two days ago. According to his uncle, who lives in Karnal, Sandhu was attacked with a paddle when he got in the middle of a fight among Indian students over rent. The deceased went to Australia on a study visa last November 2022. He was pursuing an M.Tech degree in Melbourne.
He was the only brother of two sisters
According to information, the accused was staying in Melbourne. Sandhu’s family believes that the attack was a result of a quarrel with an acquaintance of his son. Navjitsinh Sandhu hailed from an ordinary farming family in India and was a promising young man living and studying in Melbourne. And falling in the middle of the fight, he was killed. Due to this tragic incident, the family was devastated. Deceased Navjit Singh Sandhu was the only son of his parents and brother of two sisters.
