Violence has decreased
Quoting the IEP report, Tolo News said that the number of deaths due to armed conflict in Afghanistan has decreased in 2022, but still the situation has not changed much. Notably, since the withdrawal of American troops in August last year, the level of conflict in Afghanistan has come down a lot.
According to the IEP report, civilians in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan now feel safer than ever. There has been some improvement in terms of crime among Afghan citizens. According to the report, the number of people who feel unsafe walking alone here has decreased from 84 percent to 77 percent. Along with this, the report has said that in 2022, there has been a 75 percent reduction in terrorist incidents in Afghanistan. Not only this, deaths due to terrorism have reduced by 58 percent. Despite all this, Afghanistan remains the most troubled country in the world.
