The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft lived up to the hype.
Three quarterbacks went in the first three picks, the first surprise came at No. 8, and an incredible six quarterbacks went in the first 12 picks. The first defensive player didn’t get drafted until the No. 15 overall pick, which led to a mini run of defensive players. There was also a total of five trades, including two involving the busy Minnesota Vikings and a shocking one involving two of the AFC’s best teams.
There are still six more rounds to go, and a ton of excitement and great prospects left on the board. But for now, round one is officially complete.
