A Kansas City prosecutor dismissed the misdemeanor assault cost against Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams stemming from him shoving a video clip output crew member at Arrowhead Stadium past year, Benita Jones, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Municipal Courtroom explained to The Kansas Town Star on Friday.
The cost was formally dismissed on June 5 and the scenario is now considered closed.
The altercation in between Adams and Paul Zebley, the online video production crew member, transpired just after a 30–29 reduction to the Chiefs on Monday Evening Soccer. The police report alleged that Adams pushed Zebley to the ground, “causing whiplash and headache and a probable slight concussion.” Zebley submitted the police report following being taken to the hospital for analysis.
Adams apologized on social media immediately after the activity.
“Sorry to the man I pushed about immediately after the sport,” Adams tweeted. “Obviously incredibly discouraged at the way the game ended and when he ran in entrance of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible quickly. That is not me..MY APOLOGIES male hope you see this.”
Zebley filed a subsequent civil suit in opposition to Adams, which stays pending.
