The 2023 Main League Baseball period has been a rough just one for the umpires. There has just been so quite a few terrible phone calls so much, which has usually led to fans yelling on social media for robots to just take over for the fellas in blue.
That continued Monday evening when the Mariners beat the Nationals many thanks to a dreadful named strike that ended the sport in the leading of the ninth inning. Jeimer Candelario was at the plate with the bases loaded when residence plate umpire Mark Carlson rang him up on a pitch that was never close to the strike zone.
