With veteran point guard Chris Paul joining the Warriors for the 2023–24 season soon after a trade from the Wizards, his new teammate Draymond Green is fired up to see how the 12-time All-Star can assist some of Golden State’s youthful gamers.
When talking on Paul George’s Podcast P, Eco-friendly explained he’s particularly interested to see how Paul will “unlock” 20-year-outdated forward Jonathan Kuminga this approaching period.
“I think Chris Paul will fully unlock Jonathan Kuminga and his development,” Eco-friendly reported. “CP is excellent with young men. Deandre Ayton seemed like a bust ahead of CP arrived to Phoenix. No disrespect to Ayton, extra so a nod to CP. What he would do for Jonathan Kuminga and unlocking Kuminga is large.”

Kuminga primarily has played off the bench in his 1st two NBA seasons, averaging 9.6 factors, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 helps per video game. Very last year, his 9.9-position regular ranked best on the staff between nonstarters.
