The Top secret Service is downplaying a report that a petition is circulating internally increasing issues about new incidents connected to “insufficient instruction,” telling Fox News Digital that “our persons are remarkable.”
Bloomberg White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs tweeted Thursday that the petition has at the very least 39 signatures and phone calls for a congressional investigation into the Mystery Company.
She said the document “flags concerns about ‘a amount of modern Key Provider incidents indicative of inadequate instruction,’ a double normal in disciplinary steps, and a vulnerability ‘to possible insider threats’ that could pose a threat to U.S. nationwide safety.“
But Solution Services Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi explained to Fox Information Digital in a statement that “It’s obvious that this anonymous petitioner does not embody the U.S. Mystery Service’s values of support about self.”
