Prosecutors say they have “inadequate” evidence to make a murder case against the white Florida female accused of fatally capturing her Black neighbor through a door.
Susan Louise Lorincz will be prosecuted for manslaughter with a firearm and 1 count of assault in the loss of life of Ajike “AJ” Owens, State Attorney William “Bill” Gladson mentioned Monday.
The burden for a next-degree murder demand demands prosecutors to confirm “beyond and to the exclusion of every sensible question, the existence of a wicked brain towards the target at the time of the killing,” Gladson claimed in a assertion.
“Wicked thoughts demands evidence of hatred, spite, sick will or evil intent toward the victim at the time of the killing,” he explained. “As deplorable as the defendant’s steps had been in this scenario, there is insufficient evidence to prove this certain and expected aspect of second-degree murder.”
