Pecker testified that American Media Inc., the owner of the National Enquirer, testified that prior to obtaining stories, the corporation would vet them for truthfulness. He also testified that there have been situations AMI would obtain a tale to use as leverage.
When asked if this was regular, Pecker testified: “Yes.”
Pecker also reported Thursday that Trump “was my mentor.”
