The condition governments in Oklahoma and Florida are telling universities not to conform to President Biden’s modifications to Title IX procedures.
Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters introduced Thursday morning that he has instructed schools in his point out not to comply with the Biden administration’s alterations to Title IX, which include things like gender id protections.
“We will fight Joe Biden each and every day to continue to keep this social Marxism out of Oklahoma,” Walters reported in a statement to Fox Information Digital. “This is a time for states to rise up from the federal government’s assault on young women.”

In a letter despatched to point out university leaders this week, Walters stated he consulted “with a number of other state instruction leaders and authorized counsel” about “really serious concerns with the legality of these rule modifications, in particular as it relates to its redefinition of ‘sex’ to involve gender identity.”
Walters stated in his announcement that he expects lawful worries to the Title IX alterations in the coming days and urged educational institutions to refrain from applying variations until the matter is settled.
“You should do not make any district policy alterations centered on the new Title IX polices,” Walters instructed condition educators. “These federal rule changes are unlawful and earning policy adjustments just before the courts come to a definitive ruling on the legality of these regulations could put your district out of compliance with other existing and legal condition and federal statute.”

Florida Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr. declared a similar intention to combat the Title IX adjustments on Wednesday, contacting the new suggestions absurd.
