Navarro was sent to prison in March for four months, charged and convicted with contempt of Congress following he refused to comply with a congressional subpoena demanding his testimony and files relating to the January 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol. Daly and Morgan, two lawyers with the Justice Department’s tax division, have been subpoenaed for their “firsthand information of the irregularities in DOJ’s investigation that look to have benefited Hunter Biden,” in accordance to Courthouse News Assistance.
