Vick Hope hits back after BBC viewers claimed her ‘inappropriate’ mini dress ‘put them off their breakfast’ – before wearing a bralet for next show
Vick Hope hit back at BBC Morning Live viewers after they called her choice of outfit ‘inappropriate.’
The radio DJ, 33, has been hosting the breakfast show this week with Gethin Jones, but shocked viewers were quick to complain about her choice at attire.
Vick looked incredible on Monday’s episode as she sported a floral mini dress with puffed sleeves and a thigh-grazing hemline.
Yet some viewers thought the garment was too short for daytime TV, with one tweeting: ‘I love this show but can someone please tell your female presenter today to wear a midi dress!!
‘It is really inappropriate to be wearing a mini dress whilst sitting presenting this show. Putting me off my breakfast!’

Legs eleven! Vick looked incredible on Monday’s show as she sported a floral mini dress with puffed sleeves and a thigh-grazing hemline
She later messaged the presenter directly, writing: ‘@VickNHope WEAR A MIDI DRESS please!!’
Another viewer was in agreeance, sharing: ‘Please tell the female presenter to wear longer skirts!! It’s not the first time!!’
Yet Vick took the criticism in her stride, sharing screenshots of the tweets that she captioned: ‘Good morning! It’s not the first time [crying emoji]’
She later shared a selfie captioned: ‘Doing the radio from MCR this week, HOWLING at all your responses to my short dress Karens, you legends.
‘”They’re legs, Gill and at the top of them there’s a vagina.”‘
While Vick kept her legs covered up for Tuesday’s show, she still flashed a peek of flesh by opting for a bralet.
In what appeared to be a defiant stance against those who told her to cover up, the Radio 1 host opted for a skimpy scarlet crop top that she wore with a coordinating blazer and wide legged trousers.
It was the latest in a slew of racy outfits for the star, who last week turned heads when she donned a sexy sheer black dress at the star-studded V&A summer party.

It comes after Vick spoke out on her low-key life with her fiancé Calvin Harris.
She has been engaged to the superstar DJ for a year after he proposed just five months into their whirlwind romance.
The private pair rarely speak about their romance but in a new interview about her daily life with The Sunday Times, Vick has revealed the secrets to their blissful life at home together in London.
The happy couple split their time between Calvin’s 138 acre Ibiza farm and their London pad, and while Vick often follows her fiancé around the world for his DJ work, she admits she loves their ‘peaceful’ London life.
Vick reveals the couple love to cook ‘nutritious’ food together in the evenings, with both sticking to an organic, vegetable-rich diet.
While their busy schedules mean they don’t sit down to eat until 9:30pm, Vick says she loves that they take the time to cook and eat together and talk.
