And Venus Williams made sure to get some practice in as she headed down toĀ Aorangi Park courts in LondonĀ on Wednesday.Ā
The sportswoman, 43, slipped into a pair of pale pink hot pants and a matching V-neck T-shirt for the session.Ā
She shielded her eyes from the sun with a white visor and pulled her bubblegum hair back into a ponytail.Ā
Venus went seemingly makeup free, showing off her flawless complexion and wore a practical pair of Lacoste trainers.Ā

The Wimbledon Championships will begin on Monday July 3, with the American tennis player set to make her 24th appearance.Ā
VenusĀ is a five-time Wimbledon singles champion and was a finalist at the grass-court major in 2017, two decades after her debut at the All England Club.
Ranked 697th, Williams beat 48th-ranked Camila Giorgi 7-6 (5), 4-6, 7-6 (6) last week at the Birmingham Classic. It was her first victory over a player in the top 50 in nearly four years.
It comes afterĀ VenusĀ lost 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 to second-seeded Jelena Ostapenko on Thursday in the second round of the at the Birmingham Classic, which is serving as a warmup for Wimbledon.
She has just returned after six months out with a hamstring injury sustained in Auckland in the first week of the year.
Williams, who played with strapping around her right knee against Ostapenko, received an off-court medical timeout when at 2-2 in the second set.Ā
She looked uncomfortable when she returned to the grass but continued to play, fighting for every point and even saving a match point at 5-3 before recovering to win four games in a row and take it to a decider.
By the end of a 44-minute third set, WilliamsĀ“ mobility was limited and Ostapenko sealed victory with a forehand down the line.
A seven-time Grand Slam champion and five-time winner of the Wimbledon singles, Williams was this week granted a wild card by the All England Club for this yearĀ“s championships and she has justified it.
