Mitchell serves as one of the two primary mixologists — essentially fancy bartenders — on Vanderpump Villa.
In October 2018, he was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor DWI in Texas, where he has spent much of his life.
Around 4:00 a.m. on October 5, 2018, he was pulled over by Travis County police officers for allegedly going over 100 mph when the speed limit in that area was only 65 mph.
Court documents reportedly indicate that he claimed he was speeding because his BMW had been set to its sports mode, which provides greater acceleration and speed.
He is said to have ‘lied’ about his alcohol use that night, at first saying he had not been drinking before claiming to have only ‘one crown royal apple shot.’
A preliminary breath test administered by officers seemed to contradict that claim, as he allegedly had a .119 blood alcohol content (BAC), which is well over the .08 legal limit.
Mitchell was said to have a ‘strong’ alcohol odor on his person, and he was subjected to other field sobriety tests as well. Officers said he ‘lost balance,’ ‘failed to touch heel to toe’ and ‘turned improperly.’
He was also said to be ‘sway[ing]’ when he attempted to walk, and he allegedly spoke with ‘slurred’ speech.
Mitchell was arrested and his bond was set at $3,000. He appeared in court on October 18, when he was ordered to complete an alcohol assessment via Travis County Counseling and Education Services.
He would subsequently be convicted of his second DWI arrest in 2020, which reportedly led his first case to be dismissed.
He was arrested again for DWI on March 9, 2020, whn a car reportedly ‘backed into another’ vehicle.

Police on the scene described his outfit as ‘disorderly,’ and they claimed he displayed ‘bloodshot,’ ‘glossy’ eyes.
He was again described as having ‘slurred speech,’ and police said he seemed to be ‘disoriented’ and he was ‘swaying’ and ‘stumbling’ as he walked.
He was also said to have a significant alcohol stench again.
This time, Mitchell refused to take a breath test to assess his BAC, so officers only performed field tests.
However, he scored poorly enough on a scale of intoxication — a ‘four’ on a scale of zero to ten, with ten indicating someone who is highly intoxicated — that he was charged with a misdemeanor DWI for allegedly having a BAC of .15 or higher.
Mitchell said he had drank ‘two to three Crown Apple and Sprite’s’ over four hours, police said.
This time, his bond was set at $5,000. His court appearance was delayed until September 22, 2021, at which point he pleaded no contest.
The reality star was assessed a $4,000 fine and sentenced to 12 months of probation, and he was also required to complete 30 hours of community service.
He again was ordered to take a drug and alcohol assessment, this time via Counseling and Education Services (CES), and he additional had to attend a drunk-driving panel class and complete a class for DWI offenders.
The documents indicating that the Supervising Officer working with Mitchell also required him to do additional treatment and counseling.
Mitchell was prevented from driving his car while intoxicated, as the judge overseeing the case ordered him to have a device installed that requires him to take a breath sample before starting the car. If the sample indicates the presence of alcohol, the car will not start.
Mitchell’s probation reportedly ended in September of 2022.
The Sun also indicated potential discrepancies between Mitchell’s stated job history on his Hulu bio and a job history supplied in court documents.
According to his public bio, Mitchell began working in restaurants and bars after he gave up his hopes of playing basketball at Texas State due to an injury.
He then claims to have worked at a location of the high-profile Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse chain, as well as a major bar in Austin, Texas.
But court documents indicate he said he had worked as a sales manager at a company named Spot On, and he had been employed their for three months at the time of his October 2018 arrest.
Mitchell reportedly said he was earning around $3,000 per month at the job.
In his 2020 arrest, he refused a breath test but failed field sobriety tests

Court documents about his work history also seem to contradict his Hulu bio, suggesting he may not have a background in the service industry as he has claimed

After his second arrest, he indicated that he worked in HVAC sales for a company named ARS. He had been there for six months at the time, and he earned around $1,700, reportedly.
Although The Sun’s report suggests that the court-supplied work history is accurate, it is unclear if Mitchell could have also worked at the steakhouse and the bar, or if he had little to no service industry experience before he was cast.
The outlet previously reported that around half of the cast were actors and models, rather than service industry professionals, and they were said to be out of their depth in their assigned fields, though they were reportedly selected in hopes of spicing up Vanderpump Villa.
The Sun also highlights Mitchell’s IMDb profile, which indicates that he had a small role in 2022 on one episode of the series Walker, and he also had small parts in the 2023 film Masquerade and the 2024 movie Hierachy, indicating that he may have had acting aspirations.
