Troye Sivan, Dean Lewis and Sia emerged as the big winners at this year’s APRA Music Awards, held in Sydney.
The star-studded event, celebrated annually, recognises the outstanding achievements of Aussie songwriters and performers.
Sivan, the pop sensation who has been taking the global music scene by storm, clinched the prestigious Song of the Year award for his chart-topping hit Rush.
The song has not only amassed over 300 million streams worldwide but also secured two Grammy nominations and won the same category at last year’s ARIA Awards.
Lewis also stood out with his emotional ballad How Do I Say Goodbye, inspired by his father Grant’s battle with cancer.
