Comedian Tommy Little has broken his silence on long-standing rumours he is in talks to star as The Bachelor on Channel 10’s ill-fated dating series.
The 39-year-old revealed that while he is indeed on the lookout for love, the thought of doing it on a reality TV format isn’t for him.
Confronted with the question of whether he had been approached to be the leading man during a candid interview with Stellar, the radio star admitted, ‘OK, yes, I was.’Ā
He humorously speculated on the potential reactions of the female contestants: ‘If it were me, half the women would drive up and go, “Not him”, and get back in the car, and the other half would be like, “Not him again”.’Ā
Little says he is still single, and looking for a partner but with a lot less enthusiasm than in years past, despite reports he is dating co-host Carrie Bickmore.

‘When I was young… I used to come straight off after a show, particularly in a new city, and go on Instagram to see what DMs I’d gotten,’ he told the outlet.
‘I’m just a bit older and a bit more tired now.’Ā
Tommy has reportedly surfaced on popular dating app Tinder in recent months.Ā

With his departure from The Project and a clear dismissal of a stint in The Bachelor mansion, Little is setting his sights on other ventures in television.
It comes after Bickmore recently took a rather raunchy turn in her act when she poked fun at Tommy’s tumultuous relationship history and his ‘small package’.Ā
‘On his way to the theatre tonight, a female security guard patted him down, which is one of the longer relationships he has had,’ she said at a comedy roast of her co-star.

The radio host then finished with: ‘Tommy Little has the biggest heart which makes up for the fact that he has a small everything else, including his package.
‘His salary package, of course. I earn like four times what he does. There’s absolutely no joke there. I just thought it’s worth you all knowing.’
Bickmore and Little have long been at the centre of online rumours that the pair are embroiled in a cladestine relationship.
