Richard Wilkins has swapped his glamorous television job to serve sandwiches at his local Bunnings’ sausage sizzle.
The Channel Nine veteran’s son, Christian Wilkins, posted photo to his Instagram story on Saturday showing his father in a very different look.
Richard was hard at work in a white apron, putting his culinary skills to the test as he prepared fresh slices of bread for eager customers waiting near the signature Bunnings Warehouse marquee.
Richard’s son Christian, 28, captioned the image: ‘Bunnings snags ft RW’.
This comes as the Entertainment journalist is rumoured to be getting ready to tie the knot for a fourth time.

Sources close to the Weekend Today host, 68, say he wants to make a commitment to former flight attendant Nicola Dale, whom he has been dating since 2020.
‘Dickie may be 68, but he’s got a lot of life left in him. He’s now more than ready to finally settle down,’ a source told New Idea.
‘They just have this lovely ease about them. As a couple, they give each other space, but seem to really love being together.’

‘He also sees his good mate Karl Stefanovic so happy and settled with Jasmine and his new family, and Dickie wants what Karl has,’ they added.
Richard has been married three times and has five children to four different mothers.
He first married at the age of 18 after his 16-year-old girlfriend Lynette fell pregnant. The teenage couple went on to have a son together, named Adam.
After moving to Australia to pursue his pop career, Richard married for a second time and had two more children, daughter Rebecca and son Nick.

When that marriage finished, Richard had a series of romances with high-profile women, including actress Rebecca Gibney in 1989.
Their relationship reportedly ended when Richard left the actress for his third wife Michelle Burke. Together the couple had a son, model and actor Christian.
After they split, Richard went on to have a fifth child with designer Collette Dinnigan. They broke up in 2004 when she was yet to give birth to their daughter Estella.
Back in 2017, Richard joked that after three divorces ‘marriage is not my specialty’.
