If we might have to stop scrolling on TikTok, then we guess it’s only fair that Congress provides us with some form of entertainment. Call it The Real House Reps of DC, because a House Oversight Committee hearing devolved into what felt like a full-blown reality TV fight on Thursday night when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene suggested that Rep. Jasmine Crockett couldn’t read properly through her fake eyelashes. Ultimately, Greene wasn’t disciplined, so Crockett pointedly asked the chairman if that meant it was okay to bring up someone’s “bleach blonde, bad-built, butch body.”
Crockett is already selling shirts with the quote, which she said will be part of a larger “clapback collection” funding efforts to flip the House blue).
