Revlon One Step Volumizer Plus 2.0 ($38, originally $70)
Revlon’s blow-dry brush has gone viral on social media with users praising it’s quick-drying capabilities and ease of use. According to our editor, it does that and more. The product is made with ceramic-titanium tourmaline technology, designed to reduce and prevent heat damage. Plus, it has low, medium, high, and cool heat settings — an upgrade from the previous version which only had low, high, and cool — allowing for more customization. Plus, the brush head is detachable, making storing and traveling with this dryer a breeze.
Editor quote: “When wash day finally arrived, I prepped my damp, clean hair with a leave-in conditioner, hair oil, and a heat protectant. I then waited until my hair was about 85 percent dry, and I separated it into sections. I started out by running the brush through my ends, and then curling and flipping the hair under. I repeated those steps for the middle and top sections, and in the end, I was left with a perfect blowout.” — RR
“This Revlon hot air brush is one of my favorite tools. Since my hair is damaged, I’m avoiding heat tools at all costs. The low heat setting on this brush allow me to carefully style my hair and blow back my bangs effortlessly. When I add K18 hair oil after styling, I never feel like I need to use any extra products. The blowout looks perfect as is with just the help of this one tool. It’s all I need.” — Sarah Wasilak, associate content director, commerce
