Keith earlier admitted he struggled to cope when the band returned to touring after Stephen’s shock death.
He mentioned: ‘We did two substantial [comeback] excursions in 2008 and 2009, and we did four nights in each and every location. We then came again with the Best Hits album in 2009, and in the October we ended up in the middle of recording the Brother album when we shed Stephen.
‘He died in 2009 and we had been back again on the street in 2011, two years afterwards – which was way as well quickly. Way much too soon.
‘Emotionally and psychologically… I am going to be quite straightforward, myself and Shane were consuming far too significantly, making an attempt to numb the discomfort, onstage and offstage.
