Tom Schwartz and his Stars on Mars castmates didn’t in fact depart Earth for the Fox fact present, but he nevertheless felt like he’d long gone to outer house.
“The instant I felt like we ended up essentially on an additional planet the most was when we experienced to go out and we experienced to erect the interaction tower and reattach the satellites and anything,” the Vanderpump Guidelines star, 40, solely instructed Us Weekly in advance of the show’s Monday, June 26, episode. “There was a whole-blown dust storm, and we had it in our mouth — like we couldn’t breathe. It was chaotic. That minute in specific, I really felt like I was on a different planet. They did a wonderful position of producing, you know, a realistic ecosystem.”
Schwartz is one particular of 12 stars competing on the collection, which debuted before this thirty day period. The contestants take part in various challenges designed to simulate a mission to Mars to see who can endure the longest on the Crimson Planet.
While producers couldn’t actually deliver the show’s stars to Mars, they at minimum tried to replicate the seem of the world by filming the clearly show in Coober Pedy, Australia. Positioned in the state of South Australia, the distant town is recognized for its pink deserts and opal mines.
