Award-successful screenwriter and actor Meg Bennett, who realized fame on “The Younger and the Restless,” has died, her household declared Sunday. She was 75.
Bennett “lost her battle” with most cancers on April 11, the household explained in its obituary, initially published in the Los Angeles Situations.
Audiences understood Bennett as the striking brunette Julia Newman on CBS’ lengthy-jogging cleaning soap opera. She performed Megan Richardson on “Santa Barbara” in the 1990s and Allegra Montenegro on “General Hospital” in 2005.
Bennett also identified a fulfilling vocation behind the camera. She grew to become a scriptwriter on “Young & the Restless” and later on, “The Bold and the Attractive,” “General Healthcare facility,” “Santa Barbara” and “Sunset Seaside.”

Born Helen Margaret Bennett on Oct. 4, 1948, she grew up in Pasadena and attended John Muir Substantial College.
