Sheryl Lee Ralph has one ask for for her fans: “Pray for us you pray for other individuals.”
The “Abbott Elementary” star asked her social media followers for their guidance Tuesday as she prepares to trip out Hurricane Beryl, the hazardous and very strong storm that has been battering the Caribbean islands because making landfall Monday in Grenada. The Emmy winner shared her standpoint on the serene prior to the storm in a minute-extensive video clip shared to X (previously Twitter) on Tuesday night. Anticipating an earlier landfall than forecast, Ralph said, “it’s really serene in this article in Jamaica.”
“The sky is so beautifully apparent, and they said the sea looked like glass right now,” she reported. “Anyway, I’m wanting southeast and we have to take in all of the outside the house home furnishings since you know these issues take flight.”
The “Moesha” and “Sister Act 2” actor is in Kingston, Jamaica, for her son Etienne Maurice’s marriage to ABC News producer Stephanie Clean. In an Instagram tale shared Tuesday, Etienne (whom Ralph shares with ex-spouse Eric Maurice) explained he was optimistic that Hurricane Beryl would not be “as negative as individuals are contemplating.” He also noted that some invitees opted to cancel their excursions to his Saturday marriage.

Hurricane Beryl has killed at minimum six people and was forecast to start losing intensity Tuesday but nonetheless be close to main hurricane energy when it passes around or in excess of Jamaica on Wednesday, in close proximity to the Cayman Islands on Thursday and into Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula on Friday, in accordance to the Nationwide Hurricane Heart. As of midmorning Wednesday, Hurricane Beryl was nevertheless headed for Jamaica.
