Rory McIlroy and spouse Erica Stoll sparked a lasting romance after decades of friendship.
The professional golfer originally met Stoll in 2012 whilst he was even now courting tennis participant Caroline Wozniacki. (The exes break up in 2014 after 3 many years and had been briefly engaged.)

Given that tying the knot, the duo have remained reasonably tranquil about their partnership. Stoll maintains a small-critical presence on social media, with her Instagram account established to private.
The pair are so less than-the-radar that McIlroy did not announce his wife’s being pregnant right until days in advance of she gave delivery in August 2020. “We’re about to be mom and dad really before long, so we’re definitely super enthusiastic,” he explained to reporters at the BMW Championship. “Yeah, we have been sharing the information with friends and loved ones, obviously, but I did not believe it was one thing that I actually notably essential to share [publicly]. … But we’re actually excited and can’t wait for [our daughter] to get below.”
McIlroy declared daughter Poppy’s birth by way of Instagram in September 2020.
