A Real Housewives of Cheshire star has opened up on her ‘intense’ and ‘horrendous’ birth story after she gave birth to her first child.
Newcomer Paige Chohan, 32, who recently joined the ITV series, welcomed a baby girl Nora with her businessman husband Amir last month.
The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in the National History Museum and have been together for more than 14 years. Â
Paige has now given a glimpse into how she has found motherhood and reflected on the dramatic birth, which caused the couple a lot of worry.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: ‘I started having contractions around two days before Nora was born, but the position that she was in also meant she was pushing on my back, causing nerve pain.

‘That was awful â I almost felt paralysed at one point. The pain was intense, so we rushed to the hospital. The doctors wanted to examine the nerve issue first but there was no time, I could feel Nora coming.
‘I had no time for any extra pain relief, so it was just gas and air. I was offered an epidural, but I ended up not having one. The minute she was born it was as if my body forgot about the horrendous pain I was in. It was all worth it.’
Paige allowed the RHOC camera crew film the moment she was rushed into hospital to give birth.
Nora was born March 30 at 3am, weighing just over 7lb and has slotted into life just perfectly, Paige revealed.Â
Speaking about her debut on the popular ITV series, Paige said she felt incredibly welcomed within the group.
The mother-of-one appeared on the show last season as a guest and has now returned with a full-time role.
With no drama on the cards just yet, Paige said her co-star Seema Malhotra has showed her the ropes.
She added there has ‘been no awkward moments’ between the girls, adding she’s fitted in just great.Â

The 17th series began last month with her fellow newbie Eleanor Egar.
As well as being a full-time influencer, Eleanor is a freelance personal stylist and boasts a quarter of a million followers on Instagram.Â
