Oprah Winfrey was hospitalized for “some type of abdomen point,” her greatest buddy, Gayle King, unveiled on Tuesday.
Winfrey, 70, was meant to drop by King’s “CBS Mornings,” but skipped out on the overall look thanks to remaining underneath the weather.
“She experienced some form of stomach issue — stomach flu — things was coming out of both ends,” the news anchor, 69, stated.
“I will not get also graphic. Pointless to say, she ended up in the clinic, dehydration, experienced to get an IV, it was a quite severe matter.”
A spokesperson for Winfrey told Page 6 that the billionaire “is recovering pursuing a tummy flu and received an IV due to dehydration at the recommendation of her doctor.”
“She is resting and emotion improved each and every working day,” the assertion concluded.
Winfrey had planned to introduce writer David Wroblewski and his e-book, “Familiaris,” which is the most up-to-date pick for her e-book club.
“I needed to make it apparent that [the book] issues to her and it really bothered her that she couldn’t be below currently. She so, so cherished this ebook,” King stated on Tuesday.
King explained to viewers that Winfrey will in the long run “be OK” next the health setback.
