Ah, of course, the traditional my mom is sleeping with my famed manager who I loathe tale. A typical of the rom-com style, second only to the my mother is sleeping with a member of my favorite boy band tale. In Netflix’s A Family Affair, the newest entry to the former trope, Nicole Kidman is the mom, Zac Efron is the well known gentleman, and Joey King is her daughter. In the trailer, we witness Kidman and Efron have a key “sexcapade,” only for King to stroll in on them carrying out the do. The shock reveal leads her to ram into a wall headfirst and pass out. “Name a movie I received a Teen Option Award for,” Efron’s character, a self-absorbed himbo, asks as she arrives to. He’s the type to quotation cheesy traces from movies his movie throughout sexual intercourse (e.g., “I’ve been waiting for you for forever”).
