Disney dropped the very first trailer for “Moana 2” Wednesday with Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson again as the voices of Moana and Maui, respectively.
The trailer also characteristics new music for the extremely-predicted Disney sequel, which arrives in theaters in November.
The very first “Moana” film came out in 2016 and grossed over $687 million around the world. It scored two Oscar nominations, like Best Unique Tune for “How Significantly I’ll Go.”
At the start of the trailer, Moana will get a phone from her ancestors “to sail to new skies and reconnect our persons throughout the entire ocean.”
Then, thrilling new new music performs as Moana heads out on her next adventure — and she’s not by yourself.
Moana’s rooster Heihei and pig Pua sign up for her, as does Johnson’s Maui, who makes an epic arrival on her boat.

David G. Derrick Jr. directed and wrote “Moana 2.” Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa’i return as the composers with Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear replacing Lin-Manuel Miranda as addition songwriters.
Disney is also performing on a are living-action “Moana” movie, set for launch in July 2026. Johnson is reprising his role as Maui.
“Moana 2” is in theaters November 27.
