Marisa Abela seemed chic as she walked the red carpet at the London premiere of Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black on Monday.
The actress, 27, stars as singer Amy – who tragically died from alcoholic beverages poisoning aged just 27 in 2011 – even though actor Jack O’Connell, 33, plays her widower Blake Fielder-Civil.
Monitor star Marisa wore a black halter neck, ground-size dress with a fishtail practice which swept the ground as she posed for awaiting photographers.
The garment beautifully accentuated her hourglass figure as she arrived at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Sq..
Her hair was a bit raised at the back, whilst it did not emulate Amy’s popular towering behive.
Again To Black, which has been endorsed by Amy’s father Mitch (played by Eddie Marsan) has drawn outrage from the singer’s friends who slammed it for it’s ‘ghoulish’ depictions of the star’s drug habit and also filming her funeral.
Blake, who was wed to the singer involving 2007 and 2009, previously admitted introducing her to heroin and is viewed by many of her enthusiasts as partly responsible for her loss of life from liquor poisoning.
In the trailer, Amy declares she wants to be regarded for more than her singing and her desperation to be a mother, just before sadly dying childless.
In just one emotional scene she describes Blake as ‘her lifetime and soul’ before their on/off marriage inspires her to publish the legendary monitor Back again To Black.
