Male celebrities who are the same age as Brad Pitt, 59, after he was compared to Benjamin Button

Brad Pitt stunned fans over the weekend by looking even more youthful that usual as he filmed a new commercial in a vineyard in the South of France.

The actor, who turns 60 later this year, was compared to his on-screen persona Benjamin Button, a character who spends his life aging in reverse.

The Oscar-winner looked flawless in an an all-white ensemble as he filmed opposite actress Karina Beuthe, for Italian appliance brand De’Longhi.

Brad, who played the titular character in 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, wore a button-up collared shirt with off-white slacks and white loafers.

People were quick to marvel at the genetic blessings of the heartthrob, who first made countless fans swoon way back in 1991 when he stole the heart — and cash — of Geena Davis in Thelma And Louise.

After the recent photos of Brad were reshared online, fans commented on his dashing appearance while filming the advert.

Compliments to the star included that he looks ‘forever young’, while another said: ‘Brad Pitt is still Hollywood’s golden boy for over 30 years.’

One other said: ‘Brad Pitt is the real life Benjamin Button.’

Another very excited commenter, said: ‘He’s stunningly handsome and incredibly sexy!’

While Brad may have been blessed with the fountain of youth, there have been rumblings that the Hollywood star has had a little help from the surgeon.

The secret to Brad Pitt‘s eternally youthful looks may be down to post-divorce ‘tweakments’ since his split from Angelina Jolie, an expert has suggested.

Laura Kay, cosmetics specialist and founder of Laura Kay London, told FEMAIL the Oscar Award-winning actor’s young appearance can be explained by a combination of a good skin maintenance programme, plus a few procedures here and there.

Speaking to FEMAIL, she said: ‘Brad appears to have very subtly invested in some ‘tweakments’ to retain a youthful appearance. 

‘He has reduced fine lines today and his skin is dewy and fresh. Therefore he may have has botox to reduce wrinkles and face peels will help to rejuvenate his skin. 

‘He could also have focused on certain areas including the neck, jowls and his hairline/hair that are very noticeable signs of ageing – and with a skilled practitioner people will hardly notice the difference, yet it will look transformative.’

She added that, if Pitt has opted for a few nips and tucks, it may be related to his split from Angelina Jolie, his partner of 12 years.

But whether Brad has had a helping hand or not, he still looks incredible for his 59 years, ahead of his milestone birthday in December.

As Brad was snapped looking as handsome as he did in his first film appearance, we take a look at public figures who were born in the same year.

Nigel Farage 

Nigel Farage, who turned 59 in April, was forced to deny undergoing cosmetic surgery after sporting a strikingly more fresh-faced appearance than usual.

The former UKIP leader had been captured in pictures that show him looking more sprightly and rejuvenated than images taken years previous.

Not only did his hair appear to be a darker shade of brown, he seemed to have gained a tan, and speculation was rampant that the he underwent botox treatment on a recent trip to Germany.

At the time, he said told MailOnline: ‘Look listen, the idea that I have been to Germany for some treatment and had Botox is rubbish, that’s all I’m going to say on the issue.’

He refused to say if he had dyed his hair.

And when pressed on whether he credits his youthful looks on leaving the Ukip’s troubles behind him, he said: ‘Ukip life is better and easier.’

But celebrity cosmetic specialist Dr Nyla Raja said that, in her opinion, Nigel appeared to have skin tightening treatment using radio frequencies.

‘I also think he has had Botox because the wrinkles around his eyes and on the forehead are less defined,’ she told The Sun.

Boris Johnson

Boris, 59, was historically ridiculed by the Labour Party for his ‘scruffy’ appearance during a partywide email addressed to members in 2019.

It was entitled ‘We WILL stop Boris – here’s how’ the party sought to drum a social media firestorm as it urged activists to post online that ‘we can’t trust Boris’.

It then proceeded to suggest the new Tory leader was a ‘scruffy Etonian buffoon’ and a ‘calculating liar’.

The former Prime Minister also recently opened up about how he tried the wonder weight loss drug after noticing his colleague’s shrinking waist lines.

Boris admitted that he was keen to stop his ‘fridge raids’ with the appetite suppressant, but admitted that it ultimately didn’t work for him.

Jeff Bezos

Jeff’s appearance came into question a couple of years ago when his dramatically plumped-up lips and super-smooth, tight cheeks sparked rumours he had cosmetic surgery.

The wealthiest person in the world appeared different – mostly puffier – in photos and video taken before and after his $5.5billion joyride to space.

It’s unknown if Bezos had undergone any cosmetic surgery. He hadn’t said anything publicly.

Nevertheless, it’s caught the interest of some, including Dr. Corey L. Hartman, a dermatologist in Birmingham, Alabama, who told the Daily Beast, ‘How can you not be obsessed [with how Bezos looks]? It’s such a drastic change.’ 

‘He’s an easy target,’ Dr. Hartman told the Daily Beast. ‘Clearly he does not care because to me it looks like to me that he went and got his very obvious filler and injectables done right before he burst into the spotlight with this trip into space.’

Hartman posted a photo of Bezos, who is worth an estimated $192 billion, on Instagram and said, ‘We see you, Jeff. Next time get the filler a month earlier so that the swelling has time to die down. Keeps people (like me) out of your business.’

Hartman did stress that he doesn’t want to stigmatize cosmetic surgery, especially among men. 

‘More men who are into this should go for it,’ he said. ‘So, good for Bezos for stepping out and not being afraid to go for it.’ 

He added: ‘He’s an easy target.

‘Clearly he does not care because to me it looks like to me that he went and got his very obvious filler and injectables done right before he burst into the spotlight with this trip into space.’

Offering advice on how to avoid unsightly swelling after cosmetic injectables, the doctor continued: ‘These are temporary implants that your skin is not used to, and your skin is going to respond to what you’ve put in it.

‘Ice packs help and I love to use antihistamines [to reduce swelling]. There is also the potential for bruising. I think if Bezos had it, he should have given himself a bit more time before going out, and got it gradually instead of all at once, it wouldn’t be as noticeable.’

Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe shot to fame playing Maximus in the 2000 epic Gladiator.

But two decades later, the 59-year-old actor has embraced a far more relaxed look, and is now hardly recognisable compared to his glory days.

The Hollywood legend sported a scruffy beard and wore his greying hair in a slicked-back ponytail while playing a game of tennis in Sydney in 2020.

Gone was the chiselled six pack he was once known for, as Russell sported a loose-fitting polo shirt, black-and-white Adidas pants and a pair of matching sneakers.

He was at the training session with his pal Britney, an actress-turned-real estate agent who starred alongside him in the 2013 crime drama Broken City. 

The Oscar winner was trying to get back into shape, after gaining weight to play a psychotic stalker in the thriller Unhinged.

In the film, Russell plays a man who makes a woman’s life hell after a road rage incident, ruthlessly going after her and everyone she knows.

The Beautiful Mind actor is no stranger to changing his figure depending on the role he is playing.

He portrayed the former chairman and CEO of Fox News, Roger Ailes, in the Showtime series The Loudest Voice.

This role required him to gain a significant amount of weight and wear a ‘fat suit’.

Andy Serkis 

Andy celebrated his 59th birthday in April.

Like Brad, Andy’s acting career kicked off in the late 1980s.

It began with small roles on the series Morris Minor and His Marvellous Motors, and The New Statesman (1989) before being cast as Owen in Streetwise from 1989–1992.

His most notable role, is arguably as Lord Of The Ring’s character, Gollum, who he was cast as the voice of in the trilogy and the prequel, The Hobbit.

Hugh Bonneville

Hugh has undergone an image transformation in recent years and first showcased his jaw-dropping weight loss in 2020.

The following year, he left The One Show viewers scratching their heads on as he appeared via a video link with a ‘weird’ filtered and seemingly ‘airbrushed’ face. 

Hugh hilariously addressed the furore by joking he’s had lots of imaginary surgery in a cheeky Instagram statement. 

Sharing a selfie taken in front of a green screen, the Downton Abbey actor teased that he’s had ‘a number of cosmetic procedures’, including ‘breast indecision, cheekoplasty, aura misting and lipodonction’ (sic).

Hugh sported a very serious expression as he stared at the camera, making sure to leave any filters off and embrace his natural visage and stray stands of hair. 

Cheekily addressing the furore, Hugh said: ‘STATEMENT: I have recently undergone a number of cosmetic procedures including rhinomicroscopy, breast indecision, cheekoplasty, follicoliopoly, dental undergouging, lipodonction and aura misting. Clearly putting some effort into his entertaining reply, Hugh played with the names of actual treatments in his Instagram post. 

For example, cheekoplasty could be a reference to cheiloplasty or surgical lip restoration while lipodonction appears to a reference to liposuction. 

Hugh also hashtagged his post using ‘filtergate’ and ‘iamnotacat’, a funny reference to the resent viral video of a lawyer who couldn’t get rid of the cat filter on Zoom. 

Fatboy Slim

While he is still rocking out in his prime, it is no secret that Fatboy Slim – real name Quentin Leo Cook – has put his body through the ringer.

The star, who has been sober for 14 years, recently revealed the shocking ritual he goes through before taking to the stage to perform now he’s sober.

He said the experience is like ‘doing a line’. 

Superstar DJ, real name Norman Cook, has a rather unorthodox request which his manager indulges in to make sure the musician is in the right frame of mind.

The 59 year old requires a slap round the face to ensure he’s alert and ready to go on stage for each gig.

‘That transformation involves three Red Bulls, putting on a Hawaiian shirt, removing my shoes and being slapped really hard around the face by my tour manager, Al,’ he said according to The Sun.

The ritual first came about when he went sober 14 years ago, with the smack taking the place of any drinks.

He explained: ‘The slap replaces the cheeky vodka and orange or something else which used to get me on stage fighting.

‘It just means all my adrenaline is there and I am in a fighting mood to perk me up.’
