Luke Bryan is crediting the extra padding on his overall body as the cause why he was not seriously wounded immediately after falling onstage during his live performance this past weekend.
“Whether it was a phone or a slippery phase … when I landed, the very first point I hit was a mobile phone,” Bryan, 47, advised TMZ on Monday, April 22, of the mishap.
When asked if he experienced “no injuries” and was “all great,” Bryan joked, “Hey, I obtained a large amount of meat again there.”
Footage from his performance at the Coastline Town Country Competition in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, April 20, showed Bryan abruptly slipping on his again following slipping on a fan’s telephone.
The nation crooner then began laughing as he sat up and held the cell phone for the audience to see.
“Hold on. Did any individual get that?” Bryan requested the group as he checked himself for prospective accidents. “It’s Okay. Hey, my lawyer will be contacting.”
He then threw the telephone back again into the group prior to asking no matter whether anybody filmed his tumble. “You’re Snapchatting. You just cannot Snapchat this s–t,” he told an audience member. “Oh, certainly! Alright, below we go again. There I am, there we go … there it is! This is viral, alright, this is viral.”

Bryan also laughed off his now-viral slip for the duration of the Sunday, April 21, episode of American Idol right after host Ryan Seacrest referenced his tumble.
“I just want to verify to make positive. Luke, you’re transferring Alright?” Seacrest, 49, joked. “You appeared alright at the open up of the display there. Are you ruined in any way?”
Right after initially pretending he didn’t know what Seacrest was conversing about, the “But I Bought a Beer in My Hand” singer ultimately gave fans an update after Seacrest replayed the clip, which Bryan known as “good previous-fashioned foolishness.”
“I’m alright, little one!” he extra. “[It was] actually the ideal second of the night.”
Bryan’s Canadian leg of his Thoughts of a Country Boy Tour is established to wrap up on Thursday, April 25. The nation star will kick off the next leg of his tour in June in Jacksonville, Florida.
In concerning tour dates, fans can view Bryan on American Idol, wherever he has been a choose together with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie considering the fact that period 16 in 2018.
While Perry, 39, declared in February that this year would “probably” be her previous, Bryan admitted that he wasn’t astonished by her determination.
“I experienced listened to whispers that she was imagining about it — it was not like a huge shock,” he told Style of Nation previously this month. “I assume she kinda just received caught up in the moment with [Jimmy] Kimmel and perhaps declared that she was carried out.”
And though Perry thinks Jelly Roll would be a superior replacement for her when she’s explained goodbye to the Idol loved ones, Bryan instructed TMZ he “can’t go into” who he’d like to see on the judging panel.
“Anybody would be good,” he shared.
