Louise Thompson has revealed she has decided to enjoy early morning ‘day dates’ with partner Ryan Libbey as she focuses on their relationship after her recent health battle.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 34, revealed last month she had a stoma bag fitted after years of suffering from ulcerative colitis following a diagnosis in 2018.
Louise said she is trying to ‘weave’ things into her routine that ‘bring joy to her life’ as she gave an insight into her day with Ryan who she became engaged to in 2018.
Sharing a gallery of pictures, the reality star looked incredible as she tucked a black T-shirt into a pair of blue denim short and posed with her son Leo in their kitchen.
She added a pair of black knee high boots and a bomber jacket over the number as she placed Leo on the back of Ryan’s bike as they headed to drop him at nursery.

Ahead of the day, Louise seemed in good spirits as she posed for a selfie with her little boy as they donned coordinated helmets.
After biking to drop their bundle of joy at school, Louise and Ryan enjoyed a romantic date over breakfast at Granger & Co. in Chelsea.
Alongside the pictures of her busy morning, Louise explained: ‘Have been working with my mentor this year to figure out how many things I can weave into my routine that bring more joy to my life.
‘I came up with the idea of doing weekly early morning ‘day dates’ with Ryan and we landed on a Wednesday – bang smack in the middle of the week and something rather lovely to look forward to.
‘I’ve committed to getting up a little bit earlier, dropping Leo off a little bit earlier too (via bike as a 3x unit), and then cycling around various parts of town with Ryan sourcing out some of the best breakfast spots that the city has to offer. We will feast on healthy grub and soak up some new sights, smiling at strangers, all before racing home, peddle to the floor to start work promptly at 10am.’
Listing the reasons why the couple have decided to do ‘day dates’ and the benefits, Louise continued: ‘It ticks a lot of boxes for us.
‘1. Nostalgia. I used to do a lot of restaurant research before lockdown and consequently dined out a lot. It made me very happy. Who doesn’t love spending all of their savings on food?

‘2. Cycling. I’m not doing much exercise atm, but cycling is good because it not only gets you from A to B v quickly, it also gets me moving my body and I’m looking to gradually build in a bit of cardio whilst also growing those trust quad muscles that diminished at a rapid rate when I was ill (I never know when I’ll next need the extra weight and muscle).
‘3. It’s also an activity that forces you OFF your phone.
‘3. Laughter. Ryan finds me on the bike hilarious. Especially when I get really competitive and lean forward as if I’m racing and over take him. We’re both such athletic losers and it feels really nice to get back to this core of who we are.
‘4. It’s a nice way to observe the city and to see people go about their daily business. A wink and a smile with a stranger goes a long way. We also love people watching and creating narratives for passers by.
‘5. When I get stuck into work during the day I really struggle to break away from my desk and rarely leave the house, so getting out early is a good way of combating this unhealthy habit.
‘6. It’s a huge luxury, but being able to do something that’s just us two and without Leo feels pretty great and is not something we’ve done a lot of tbh. I know it sounds really selfish, but it’s important that we have a relationship too now that a lot of other things are better.
‘7. We’re pretty flipping knackered in the evenings, so this way we ensure we are connecting and communicating as supposed to just passing out on one another.
‘8. We want to model a healthy and fresh relationship to Leo.
‘9. Our schedules are becoming pretty nuts, especially with all of the press around my book coming out, but I don’t want to neglect quality time and I think now is the perfect time to implement a good routine between us, otherwise it could be too late. There will never be a right time otherwise. If we schedule something in then we will have to work other things around it. It’s got to be a non negotiable.

’10. For us this feels like a hobby, rather than a chore. Visiting new places means it’s never boring. Plus I get an opportunity to wear some of the heaps of clothes in my wardrobe and not just mooch around in trackies at home all day errryday.’
Louise concluded: ‘Remember LIGHT THE CANDLE, WEAR THE NICE CLOTHES (just don’t light the candle at both ends).’
It comes after the TV personality proudly revealed there is ‘nothing’ she won’t wear after getting a stoma bag fitted.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Louise shared a video of herself in a blue swimsuit and said she was surprised herself how ‘incognito’ it was in swimwear.
Sharing she has now given her stoma bag the hilarious name Winnie as a play on the character Winnie The Pooh, Louise wrote: ‘Things I won’t wear with my bum bag :NOTHING.
‘I have to say I’m pretty amazed by how incognito my stoma bag is in my cosi’s ! Might be a different story by the end of the day but for now this is SERVING.
‘What are we thinking about the name Winnie? And more importantly have you got it? I think it’s priceless. Clue: honey pot , but open to suggestions.
‘Was on our og baby name list, but this will do for now. L x’
Louise shared the news of having a stoma bag fitted with her Instagram followers in early April, as she bravely admitted it is ‘not something she wanted to hide forever’.
The television personality has previously spoken about her ongoing struggles with the bowel condition ulcerative colitis as well as the autoimmune disease lupus.
Ulcerative colitis is a chronic bowel condition where the colon and rectum become inflamed and small ulcers develop on the colon’s lining, which can bleed. The condition has no cure, but can be effectively managed with time.

Earlier this year she spent two weeks in hospital after suffering a ulcerative colitis flare up during a holiday with her fiance Ryan Libbey and their little boy Leo, two.
The fitness influencer almost died during the birth of her son Leo in 2021 and was left with post traumatic stress disorder.
Louise shared a video of herself showing the bag, which is attached to her stomach, and wrote: HOW DO I DISCLOSE THIS SORT OF NEWS?
‘It’s not exactly exciting like a big pregnancy or gender reveal announcement! Hey look i’m having a boy… Hey look i’ve got a stoma!
‘So I guess i’ll just stand here. Proud in stature. With my new friend. Le bum bag, that represents life. And hopefully a better one.
‘Isn’t it bizarre that this little grey pouch is the price I pay for good health! I say good riddance to that nasty menacing colon!
Louise urged people to support her choice to share her news online, and added: ‘Please be kind.’
In the clip, Louise lifted her top to reveal the pouch and told her fans she was ‘introducing the bag that may well have saved her life’.
She added: ‘Not exactly a glamorous announcement but not something I want to keep hidden forever.’
