Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson launched in Melbourne with a bang on Monday, but listeners in the city were left divided by the breakfast show’s raunchy style.
The radio shock jocks made a jaw-dropping X-rated debut with a profane opener that discussed sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and favourite sexual positions, as well as featuring plenty of swearing.
Melburnians flocked to Instagram to voice their opinions on the shocking Sydney-broadcast show, with some left disgusted by the overtly sexual content, while others found it a welcome change to their usual local breakfast radio offerings.
One disgruntled listener said: ‘Well, is your content really suitable for school drop off, no kid has to be exposed to so much sexual content!’
Another wrote: ‘Someone get Kyle off the show. He is one of the biggest clowns out.’

A third said they hoped Kyle and Jackie O would fail in Melbourne writing beneath their debut ‘We’re Live’ post: ‘Hopefully not for long.’
‘Turn over at 7.45 with kids in the car and Kyle was taking about Jackie’s sex life… No thanks… back to Jase and Lauren,’ one person said, referencing the former KIIS FM Melbourne breakfast hosts who were forced to jump to Nova to save their jobs.
Not everyone in Melbourne was aggrieved by The Kyle and Jackie O Show, with many also chiming in to express their love as they welcomed the radio duo to the city.
One avid fan wrote: ‘YESSSSSSSSS! The King & Queen have arrived! WOO HOOOOO! xxxx.’
‘Best 6am show opener ever!’ another said, while someone else added: ‘Welcome to Melbourne, love it!’

Meanwhile, one listener commended Jackie O, saying: ‘Day one and I was literally lol’ing at Jackie’s dating details.’
Kyle, 52, and Jackie O, 49, hit Victorian airwaves in typical style on Monday morning, with the former introducing himself to Melburnians as an ‘ex F-boy, coke-sniffing a**hole’.
Co-host Jackie O meanwhile introduced herself as ‘STI-free’ before Kyle began pressing her for her opinions on anal sex.
Shock jock Kyle then began to introduce their extensive team of producers to new Melbourne listeners.

Newsreader Brooklyn Ross told listeners he ‘famously had a few STIs’ during his introduction.
‘The worst was the crabs,’ he laughed.
‘Brooklyn is a woke piece of s**t,’ declared Kyle after his colleague then revealed he drives a Tesla.
Moments later, show director and Kyle’s manager Bruno Bouchet introduced himself to listeners by saying ‘despite being straight I love getting pegged’.
