Judas Priest is double dipping.
After wrapping the first leg of their ‘Invisible Shield Tour’ in May, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have announced they’re returning to the road along with special guest Sabaton this fall for a 25-concert jaunt at arenas and festivals all over North America.
Unfortunately, the British metal icons don’t have any New York or New Jersey stops planned as of now.
As of now, the closest Rob Halford and co. will get to the City is when they hit Montreal’s Bell Centre on Friday, Sept. 13 and Niagara Falls’ Fallsview Casino on Saturday, Sept. 14.
For those wondering what to expect at these upcoming gigs, the band played hits like “Breaking The Law” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming” as well as tracks from their recently released 19th studio album “Invincible Shield” on the first leg of the tour, according to Set List FM.

Judas Priest new music
On March 8, Judas Priest dropped their 19th studio album “Invincible Shield.”
Made up of 14 tracks, the record is a throwback to the band’s unmistakable heavy arena metal sound filled to the gills with thrashing guitar solos, frenetic drumming and Halford’s iconic high-pitched vocals.
Standout tracks include the anthemic album opener “Panic Attack,” catchy singalong “Invisible Shield” and the epic “As God is My Witness” which steadily builds to a dizzying crescendo.
However, it’s “Invisible Shield’s” first slow moment — embedded deep within the operatic “Giants In The Sky” — that soars highest. By mellowing for just a minute, Judas Priest makes the audience appreciate their nonstop bombasity that much more.
Don’t sleep on the fist-pumping album closer “The Lodger,” either. It sounds more Jethro Tull than Priest and hearing the group mix up their sound is a welcome addition to their catalog.
