John Mayer Is a Friend of the Ewoks

The Rolling Stones have the hot lips. Nirvana has a zoinked-out smiley confront. And the Grateful Useless has Technicolor dancing bears that are so lovable that you wouldn’t brain performing a several pre-clearly show whippets with them in the back of their vans. (But at $25 a balloon? Discuss about … inflation.) John Mayer, who has been touring with Useless & Enterprise for almost a ten years, is informed that some persons discover the iconography to be a tad much too kitschy, telling GQ in a new job interview that he likens the mammals to specific primitive heroes in just the Star Wars universe. “Well, it appears to me like this is a bit of the Ewok argument. It’s like there’s an Ewok facet to the bears,” he stated, noting that they make a number of appearances at the band’s Sphere residency. “I also am a Return of the Jedi guy. I love the Ewoks. I wouldn’t have recognized the variance mainly because I was far too young. I consider most likely, if you don’t forget the Useless from 1972, the bears may well not be agent of your expertise. But could you think about them not getting in the display? What an oversight that would be.” By that logic, would James Dolan be the proper stand-in for Palpatine?
