Jenna Bush Hager broke down in tears recalling the advice her late grandfather and previous President George H.W. Bush shared with her ahead of his demise.
Speaking on “Today with Hoda & Jenna” Wednesday, Bush Hager and her co-host Hoda Kotb reviewed style designer Diane von Furstenberg’s everyday living and the impending Hulu documentary that explores it.
As the duo talked about having the most out of lifestyle, Bush Hager shared the knowledge her late grandpa imparted just before his death in 2018 at age 94.
“It reminded me of this evening I spent with my grandpa and he could scarcely speak and I was sitting concerning him and he leaned about to me and he’s like, ‘Don’t forget to take pleasure in the video game,’” she shared.
“And it was at the end of his lifetime and at type of the starting of mine, comparatively. And to listen to any individual that experienced completed all the things, be like, ‘Don’t neglect to be in it,’ to love it, to be component of it, I’ll under no circumstances fail to remember it,” she added, currently being defeat with emotion. “It’s variety of what I want to notify all of us.”
Although she acknowledged that it’s normally difficult to quit and scent the roses, she pressured it is crucial everyone attempts to consider a pause to love the instant.
