It’s been 14 long years since the “classic” members of Jane’s Addiction have officially toured together in North America.
Thankfully, that all changes later this summer.
Starting in August, lead singer Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery aka classic Jane’s Addiction will hit the road for a nationwide 25-concert trek with special guest Love and Rockets.
That includes gigs at Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday, Sept. 7 and New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17 for the “Been Caught Stealin’” rockers on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
They’ll close their run with a pair of festival appearances in late September.
The band, which formed in 1985, didn’t perform together the past 14 years because Avery took a 12-year hiatus from the band from 2010-22 and Navarro skipped their 2022 tour with the Smashing Pumpkins due to a long COVID diagnosis.
Their last album comprised of new music was 2011’s “The Great Escape Artist.” According to Pitchfork, “the classic lineup has not recorded together since 1990’s Ritual de lo Habitual. Last week, the group played a new song called ‘Imminent Redemption‘ at a London show.”
For those that can’t wait to see Farrell, Navarro, Perkins and Avery shred together for the first time since 2010, tickets are available for all Jane’s Addiction North American concerts as soon as today.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, May 31.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Love and Rockets
Jane’s Addiction tour with Love and Rockets is technically a co-headlining jaunt.
The post-punk alt-rock group, which features members from Bauhaus and Tones On Tail, are known for their slinky late ’80s mega hit “So Alive.” However, if you dig deeper into their catalog you’ll find under-appreciated jams like “No New Tale To Tell,” “Holiday On The Moon” and “Haunted When the Minutes Drag.”
